The History Room contains a large number of history and genealogy items relating to Piqua, Miami County, and other Ohio areas. Included are traditional sources such as a 5000+ volume book collection; maps of Piqua and Miami County from the 1850s; Department of the Interior maps of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania; magazines; cemetery records and indexes; microfilm of newspapers from Miami County and surrounding areas from 1820; microfilm of tax, church, official, etc. records; censuses and general genealogy information on CDs; plus city directories, police and court records, high school yearbooks, and numerous other assorted records, indexes, and lists.
